Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Planning and Cost Engineer to work as part of the PMC team on a ADNOC offshore project.
Successful candidate shall perform the below duties;
Reviews Cost Estimation, Budgeting, Cost Monitoring & Control, Forecasting and Reporting requirements for execution of Major Projects establishing strategies and priorities
Implements the Management Reporting System for Project Cost related information
Ensures that ADNOC Offshore\xe2\x80\x99s procedures for Cost Estimation, Budgeting, Cost Monitoring / Control and Reporting are approved and implemented
Reviews / Participates in the preparation of Operating Budget / 5 year Business Plans
Prepares / reviews the basis of Cost Estimation / Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in the Tender Documents
Review and comment on the cost estimates prepared by PMC / Contractors during Conceptual / FEED / EPC phases
Participates in the Contracts commercial evaluation process
Reviews PMC / Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Cost Estimation Procedure and guidelines
Prepares / Reviews the in-house Project Cost Estimates. Establishes and implements Projects Statistical Database for Benchmarking and reference
Reviews PMC Monthly Cost Report
Participates in preparation of Monthly Progress Report to Management
Identifies potential Cost Risk events, evaluates any Cost Impact due to schedule delays
Reviews Contractor Change Orders Requests (COR). Facilitates PMT in analysis of Contractor claims and issuance of Change Orders
Reviews the Contract Close-out Reports and Performance Evaluation Reports
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as ongoing training and development of assigned UAE national employees and any other assignments, as and when required
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering and Management Degree is preferable
Over 10 years experience in cost estimation and reporting protocols for all Contract / Agreement types
Knowledge of special application software packages
