Job Description
Penspen www.penspen.com is seeking a highly experienced PMC Project Manager with a Process or Mechanical Engineering background to lead an onshore upstream oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in project execution, Interface Management and leadership within the oil and gas sector, particularly in PMC and ADNOC environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage upstream onshore oil and gas projects from FEED through EPC, commissioning, and handover.
- Oversee all phases of project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure alignment with HSE, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Act as the primary interface between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive compliance with ADNOC and international standards.
- Provide regular progress reports and risk assessments to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Process).
- 20+ years of total experience in oil and gas projects, with at least 10 years in senior/leadership roles.
- Proven PMC experience on upstream onshore projects.
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
- Strong knowledge of FEED/EPC processes, budgeting, HSE, and project controls.
- ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
