Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to design, plan, and supervise the installation, testing, and maintenance of plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and review plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and gas piping systems. Prepare plumbing layouts, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD/Revit or other design software. Conduct site inspections to monitor the installation of plumbing systems and ensure compliance with approved plans and codes. Coordinate with architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems. Estimate material quantities and prepare project cost reports. Supervise plumbing contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide technical guidance. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., UAE Fire & Safety Codes, ASME, IPC). Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material specifications. Provide technical support during commissioning and handover of projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Plumbing/Building Services Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of UAE/ GCC experience in plumbing design and site supervision (depending on seniority). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant software. Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
