Job Summary

We are a reputed Facilities Management company, We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, pipe threading, and working on various types of construction sites. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. A strong mechanical knowledge base, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing projects accurately Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly of plumbing components Conduct remodeling projects involving plumbing systems and related mechanical work Assist with HVAC system installations and repairs as needed Utilize carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing infrastructure during installations or remodels Operate heavy machinery for lifting and moving materials safely on construction sites Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment at all times Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians, carpenters, and general contractors to complete projects efficiently Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing, remodeling, or related fields with a solid understanding of plumbing systems Knowledge of site safety procedures Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus Strong problem-solving skills coupled with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting Maintenance Person experience or background in assembly work is advantageous Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites with familiarity in remodeling projects is desirable
