Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Plumber to join our team at Ramada Hotel & Suites Amwaj Islands,Bahrain

Job Summary

The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent 2 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Long hours sometimes required. Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags. Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs Perform other duties as requested by management.

Fundamental Requirements

Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded Maintain all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks Prepares documentation for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items. Perform other related duties as required
