Emirates Electrical Engineering is a specialized business platform that provides comprehensive turnkey solutions combining development, financing, construction and operation of solar rooftops for commercial and industrial building in the UAE, also a responsive and flexible organization dedicated for the design and construction of turnkey electrical power projects such as High Voltage Substations, Cable Networks and Transmission Lines.
Job Purpose
The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and drainage systems in MEP projects. This includes working with various types of pipes and materials such as PPR, cast iron, HDPE, and UPVC. The plumber must be familiar with welding procedures and ensure the proper installation and functioning of plumbing systems.
Job Responsibilities
Installation of Water Pipes:

• Install water supply systems using PPR, cast iron, and other materials as specified in the project.
• Lay out and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water distribution, including cold and hot water systems.

Drainage Systems:

• Install and maintain drainage systems, ensuring proper flow and preventing blockages.
• Work with various drainage pipe materials, including PVC, HDPE, and cast iron.

Welding and Pipe Joining:

• Perform welding procedures for HDPE and UPVC pipes as part of system installations.
• Ensure that welding and joining of pipes are done in accordance with established industry standards and safety protocols.

Maintenance and Repairs:

• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with plumbing systems, including pipe leaks and drainage blockages.
• Replace defective pipes, fittings, and valves as necessary to restore functionality.

System Testing:

• Conduct pressure and flow tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed systems.
• Ensure that systems are leak-free and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to safety protocols and local plumbing codes when performing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant construction codes and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
Education:

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Plumbing or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plumbing works for new construction projects.

Technical Skills:

• Installation & Maintenance - Skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings for water, gas, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Blueprint & Plumbing Diagrams - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plumbing diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate installations and system configurations.
• Pipefitting & Soldering - Expertise in pipefitting, welding, soldering, and threading pipes, ensuring secure connections, leak prevention, and compliance with plumbing codes.
• Water & Waste Systems - Experience with the installation and repair of water supply systems, sewer lines, stormwater systems, and drainage systems, ensuring proper flow and functioning.
• Plumbing Inspections - Ability to conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems, identify leaks, clogs, or faults, and recommend repairs or improvements to maintain system integrity and efficiency.
• Knowledge of Plumbing Codes & Standards - In-depth knowledge of local plumbing codes, building codes, and safety regulations to ensure installations meet legal requirements and safety standards.
• Water Treatment Systems - Familiarity with water filtration, softening systems, and backflow prevention methods to ensure water quality and safety.
• Gas Piping Systems - Expertise in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of gas piping systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that systems operate effectively.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics - Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, water pressure problems, and repairing them using appropriate tools and methods.
• Hydraulic & Water Pressure Testing - Proficient in conducting hydraulic tests and water pressure testing to ensure systems are leak-free, meet pressure requirements, and operate efficiently.
• Plumbing Tools & Equipment - Proficient in using a variety of plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe benders, wrenches, drills, snakes, cameras, and pressure testing devices..
