Carry out daily plumbing maintenance tasks including pipe repairs, fixture installations, drainage clearing, water supply maintenance, and related mechanical work in accordance with hotel standards.
Perform preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance promptly and efficiently to support smooth hotel operations.
Respond to guest room plumbing requests--such as leaks, clogged drains, low water pressure, or malfunctioning fixtures--in a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure all plumbing work is completed safely, neatly, and in compliance with hotel safety and service guidelines.
Assist in resolving guest complaints related to plumbing concerns, ensuring issues are addressed to guests' satisfaction.
Attend daily briefings, review assigned tasks, and coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure effective workflow.
Maintain accurate records of plumbing work completed, materials used, and any required follow-up actions.
Ensure proper use, cleaning, and storage of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials according to hotel protocols.
Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and technical installations related to plumbing (e.g., water tanks, pumps, drainage systems) to ensure optimal performance.
Support Engineering colleagues by assisting with general maintenance tasks when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workshops, plumbing storage areas, and material inventory.
Follow daily work schedules and instructions provided by the Engineering Supervisor or Duty Engineer.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Plumber in a 4- or 5-star hotel or similar facility.
Strong skills in plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and plumbing malfunctions efficiently.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Good knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and safe working practices.
Ability to read basic plumbing schematics and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and complete tasks independently.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
