The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply and drainage systems in residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This includes pipefitting, sanitary fixture installation, and troubleshooting plumbing systems to ensure they operate efficiently and in compliance with safety and health regulations.
Qualification:
High school or technical certificate in the plumbing field.
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, sanitary fixtures, and water heaters.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building specifications to map plumbing layouts.
Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
Identify and repair leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
Install sanitary fixtures such as toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and water heaters.
Conduct pressure testing and leak detection to verify system integrity.
Ensure proper slope, alignment, and support of all piping systems.
