Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems and fixtures.
Diagnose and fix issues such as water leaks, blockages, pressure problems, and faulty valves.
Repair or replace sanitary fixtures including taps, mixers, showers, WC, flush tanks, and floor drains.
2. Installation Works
Install and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and water heaters.
Execute new plumbing installations as per approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and pressure testing after installation.
3. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for plumbing systems, water pumps, water heaters, and filtration units.
Inspect and service domestic water lines, drainage systems, and water tanks.
Attend and resolve reactive maintenance calls promptly to avoid service disruptions.
4. Pump Room & Water System Management
Operate and maintain transfer pumps, booster pumps, circulation pumps, and float switch systems.
Monitor pressure gauges, flow meters, and valves for proper system performance.
Clean and disinfect water tanks as per maintenance schedules.
5. Drainage & Sewage System Works
Inspect and maintain manholes, gully traps, and grease interceptors.
Clear drain blockages using manual or mechanical means.
Report any major sewer or line damage to the supervisor for immediate action.
6. Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during maintenance works.
Ensure plumbing works comply with local authority and company standards.
Report unsafe conditions, leaks, or hazards immediately to the FM Supervisor.
7. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with other maintenance teams (HVAC, Electrical, Civil) for joint works.
Support supervisors and engineers in carrying out site inspections and audits.
Record maintenance activities and submit daily job completion reports.
8. Material & Tool Management
Prepare material requests for fittings, pipes, and consumables.
Maintain proper use and storage of plumbing tools and equipment.
9. Emergency Response
Attend emergency breakdowns, burst pipes, and major leaks during and after working hours.
Ensure quick rectification to minimize water wastage and damage to property.
