Position Summary

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all plumbing systems and fixtures within the property. This includes water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and other plumbing-related equipment to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and related equipment. Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential risks; recommend appropriate solutions. Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies such as leaks, clogs, or equipment malfunctions. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all plumbing installations and systems. Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, health & safety regulations, and company standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to resolve engineering issues. Maintain records of maintenance activities, materials used, and repairs completed. Monitor inventory and request plumbing supplies or spare parts as needed. Support sustainability initiatives by recommending water-saving or energy-efficient solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role (hospitality experience is an advantage). Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fittings, valves, pumps, and sanitary equipment. Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
