Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Plumber to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and drainage systems in accordance with applicable standards and safety codes. The role requires practical knowledge, precision, and an ability to diagnose and solve plumbing issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Identify and diagnose plumbing problems and perform timely repairs. Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering equipment. Install and maintain water heaters, water tanks, pumps, valves, and other plumbing equipment. Respond to emergency calls related to plumbing faults and conduct regular preventive maintenance. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using air or water pressure gauges. Collaborate with other construction professionals and subcontractors when needed. Keep accurate records of time spent on jobs, materials used, and work completed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Plumber (minimum [X] years). Trade certification or plumbing license (as required by local authority). Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment. Strong knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Good physical condition and strength. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of HVAC systems and gas line plumbing. Experience working in commercial or industrial settings. Valid driver's license.
