Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Read blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
Respond to plumbing emergencies promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other team members.
Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet health and safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and work performed.
Recommend and implement energy and water-saving solutions when applicable.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
Monitor inventory of plumbing supplies and request materials as needed.
