Job Description
Plumber is required to install, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key duties include fitting fixtures, diagnosing and fixing leaks, maintaining pipework, performing preventive maintenance, adhering to local building codes, and providing excellent customer service. At least 2-3 years of experience in uae, and basic English or Hindi communication skills are often required.
Key Responsibilities
Installation:
Install and fit plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, baths, and water heaters.Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, pipework, pumps, and equipment.Repair:
Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and burst pipes.Systems Management:
Install and maintain heating, air-conditioning, and waste disposal systems.Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.Customer Service:
Interact with clients or property occupants, providing clear communication and a good customer experience.Documentation:
Review building plans to determine layout and material requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Several years of plumbing experience, often with specific experience in the GCC region.Technical Skills:
Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.Troubleshooting:
Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing problems efficiently.Physical Fitness:
Good physical condition to handle heavy tasks and work in awkward spaces.Education:
A diploma or certification preferablyLicenses:
A valid professional license to practice plumbing is typically required.Language:
Basic English and Hindi communication skills are often beneficial in Dubai's diverse environment.Job Type: Full-time
