Plastic Surgeon
Job Description
A plastic surgeon is a surgeon sub-specialist providing consultations & attending to patients with Plastic surgery. They provide pre-operative care, including diagnosis, operative care of all major and minor procedures in the field of plastic surgery, and post-operative care. They maintain efficient and effective care of their patients as part of an integrated program of curative and preventive medical services.
The Plastic Surgeon is responsible for attending to ambulatory and hospitalized patients of any age group, including cases of all degrees of complexity, which are within their competence and expertise. Surgeons work to meet established medical, ethical, and legal rules in the field of plastic surgery by observing practices and procedures as required.
Plastic surgery provides day-to-day work including management and evaluation of the quality of patient care within their clinical privileges approved by the Credentials and Privileges Committee.
Duties and responsibilities:
Examine patients and assess any deformity or illness Provide surgical expertise in the field of plastic surgery on appropriate reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective medical treatments Perform surgeries on patients who want to augment and/or beautify their body parts Perform various non-invasive treatments Make sure that surgical equipment is sterilized Follow up with patients and provide appropriate medical care Explain the risks and dangers of surgical procedures to patients Assess patients' psychological health Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations Working hours are assigned to meet the operational needs of the assigned area Job Type: Full Time / Part-Time
Qualifications:
MBBS / Master Degree in Surgery DHA Eligibility Letter/ DHA License (Preferred) Extensive experience with cosmetic surgery including High-definition liposuction, Vaser, Renuvion and Bodytite Fellowship trained in the face or aesthetic surgery Minimum 5 years experience (Preferred)
Schedule:
48 Hours a Week 6 Days & 1 Rest Day
