Plant Mechanic (Concrete Blocks Factory)

We are seeking an experienced

Plant Mechanic

to join our concrete blocks manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, inspect, and repair concrete block machines and related plant equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform corrective repairs Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime Ensure efficient operation of mixers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, compressors, and other plant machinery Identify equipment faults and implement effective solutions Adhere to safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and company policies Coordinate with production and electrical teams to resolve equipment issues Maintain maintenance records and report recurring problems

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Plant Mechanic

in a concrete blocks, precast, or construction materials factory Strong knowledge of

mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Experience working with industrial machinery and heavy equipment Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Commitment to workplace safety Relevant technical certification or trade qualification is an advantage
