Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning/Scheduling Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform on developing, implementing, and maintaining scheduling and project controls functions on Roads and Infrastructure O&M projects
What You\'ll Be Doing:
Developing and implementing acceptable planning and scheduling techniques and methods
Leading the development and analysis of project schedules, time impact and delay analysis and review of periodic schedule updates and claims.
Reviewing & monitoring the project schedule, project progress meeting, project delay analysis, identifying the measures of each stage and updating accurate schedule progress reports.
Determining the most suitable and economically viable engineering methods for the projects.
Developing strategies, determining material and labor costs, monitoring crew performance, ensuring health and safety regulations are obeyed, and that communications channels are open.
Validation of compatibility of assigned resources for timely completion of the project.
Generation of monthly Cash projection and resources histograms.
Preparation of consolidated report on contractor\xe2\x80\x99s program for taking Employer\xe2\x80\x99s consent.
Assist Resident Engineer & Quantity Surveyor in tracking the project against its baseline schedule.
Identify the potential areas of delay, highlight the critical events & suggest/provide mitigation measures to minimize those delays during progress meetings.
Assist Resident Engineer to advise Contractor for recovery plans of off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
Assist Resident Engineer with the preparation of Project /Kick-Off meeting.
Updating programs and preparation of reports (weekly)
Preparation of monthly progress reports
Participate in project progress meetings at the site.
Assisting project Quantity Surveyor and Resident Engineer in responding to contractor\xe2\x80\x99s notices by proving programming data feedback
Compilation of correspondences, drawings, and other contemporaneous records with coordination of site staff and contractor personnel to analyze Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Extension of time claim.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 12 years engineering experience with a minimum of 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the infrastructure and roads works.
Proficiency in scheduling software used in the Project Controls Department particularly P6
ADM approval is preferrable
Willing to work in Al Dhafra region
