Job Description

Volkswagen Group Middle East is looking for a Planning & Sales Performance Manager to join our Audi Sales Division. This key role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with strategic foresight and operational execution. You will manage the sales planning process, analyze performance, and design tactical campaigns that contribute directly to our commercial success in the region.
As Planning & Sales Performance Manager, your primary objective is to lead a transparent, data-driven planning process in a highly dynamic market. You will be interpreting market performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing tactical solutions to enhance overall sales performance which includes campaign steering, budget planning, dealer coordination, and alignment with financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activities, including tactical campaigns and product actions.
  • Conduct ongoing market research using sources such as NCBS, press articles, and surveys to inform strategic decisions.
Sales Performance & Tactical Campaign Management
  • Analyze model performance and tactical campaign effectiveness (e.g. sales-to-spending ratio per model or dealer).
  • Identify corrective actions based on data insights and market feedback.
  • Prepare and coordinate tactical campaigns by analyzing stock flows, forecasts, and target achievement.
  • Maintain i.Serve campaign systems for central and regional initiatives.
  • Ensure internal alignment and compliance, including communication with dealers and coordination with controlling and other departments for campaign approvals.
Sales Strategy & Forecasting
  • Lead weekly sales forecast meetings and align with stakeholders on tactical needs.
  • Drive the development and execution of monthly sales strategies.
Dealer Planning & Coordination
  • Update and manage stock flows and collect dealer input with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Allocate production fairly and create dealer order plans accordingly.
  • Support dealers in claim submissions and ensure smooth coordination of support contributions.
Regulatory & Homologation Management
  • Oversee the management of GSO/SASO certificates and resolve any homologation-related issues.
Bonus & Margin Systems
  • Prepare and manage dealer bonus systems and performance-based incentives.
  • Oversee dealer claim management processes.
Audit & Compliance
  • Maintain and coordinate the Sales Operations Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits by aligning with Audi Middle East QMS standards.
Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all planning and sales performance-related topics.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a sales planning or performance management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with high affinity for figures, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in data systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional coordination in a matrix organization.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
