Your role is to identify must-have visuals, foreseeing their potential impact before they become global phenomena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay ahead of political, social, and cultural trends globally.
- Forecast story trajectories and escalate news developments.
- Spot critical visuals and mobilize videographers or source existing visuals from challenging locations.
- Employ creative problem-solving skills in the fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with our global team.
To be successful at this position, we think you should to have:
- Minimum of two years\' experience in a high-level newsroom as news producer/journalist, with a focus on Europe, North America and Latin America.
- Excellent news judgement
- Exceptional creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a bonus).
- Deep understanding of critical issues affecting the Global South, BRICS, and related groups.
- Ability to identify stories appealing to our diverse client base in these regions.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively to deadlines and constantly shifting priorities
- Great office located in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
