We are looking for an experienced

Planning Manager - Power

to oversee project planning and scheduling for power transmission projects. The role demands strong expertise in Primavera P6, resource management, and project control, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead the development of project schedules, baseline programs, and resource plans for power projects (generation plants, substations, transmission lines, distribution networks). Monitor and update project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective measures. Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management and clients. Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align schedules with project requirements. Perform delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) assessments, and claims support when required. Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to address planning and scheduling matters. Ensure compliance with contractual milestones, KPIs, and company standards. Guide and mentor planning engineers.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 10-15 years of project planning experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within the

power sector

. Strong expertise in

Primavera P6

and MS Project. In-depth understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution project lifecycles. Knowledge of contractual terms claims management, and delay analysis. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. UAE/GCC experience with utility authority standards (DEWA, TRANSCO, SEWA, etc.) preferred.
