Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer Fitout and Joinery to play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion. Your expertise in project planning methodologies and your ability to analyze and mitigate potential delays will be vital to our project success.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using appropriate software Primavera P6. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Establish realistic timelines, milestones, and critical paths for project activities. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying and analyzing deviations. Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, potential delays, and recommended corrective actions. Update and revise project schedules based on actual progress and any changes in scope or resources. Identify potential risks and constraints that may impact the project schedule and propose mitigation strategies. Analyze resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficiency and avoid bottlenecks. Participate in project meetings to discuss schedule status, identify issues, and propose solutions. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation related to planning and scheduling. Assist in the development of earned value management (EVM) reports and performance indicators. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project planning processes and procedures. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders regarding schedule-related matters. Conduct site visits as necessary to gather progress information and understand site constraints.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline. 4 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the Fitout industry. Proven proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6. Strong understanding of project planning methodologies (e.g., CPM, PERT). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
