Job Title: Planning Engineer
Company Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our client's team in Ras Al-Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to establish project timelines and milestones
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Analyze project data and provide regular reports to the project team and management
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential delays
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards
- Continuously improve project planning processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the Modular Buildings industry.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and other scheduling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
