Job Description

We are seeking for a

Planning Engineer with Quantity Surveying & Estimating experiences

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a dual role, developing project schedules and also supporting cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract administration. This position is suited for professionals who are technically strong in both planning and commercial aspects of construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilitiies:

Planning & Scheduling:

Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Monitor actual vs. planned progress and provide analysis reports Develop lookahead programs and coordinate with site teams for updates Assist in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims with justification Support resource and manpower planning in coordination with the site

Quantity Surveying & Cost Control:

Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for projects and variations Track material and subcontractor costs and verify against project budgets Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing comparisons Monitor project costs, prepare interim and final payment applications Assist in the preparation of contractual documents and support in claims

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a contracting company handling both planning and QS responsibilities Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and QS software Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and cost breakdown Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions is an advantage Excellent time management, communication, and reporting skills
