Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and recommend approval of contractors' baseline schedules in line with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practices
  • Validate availability and compatibility of project resources to support timely project completion
  • Develop and manage an integrated master schedule covering multiple packages and their interdependencies
  • Review progress updates and schedules to identify delays, critical paths, and potential slippages
  • Propose mitigation measures and corrective actions to address schedule risks
  • Conduct what-if and time impact analyses to assess effects of changes, variations, and events
  • Prepare monthly and periodic progress reports with schedule analysis, recommendations, and milestone tracking
  • Perform detailed assessment of claims including extension of time and disruption using recognized delay analysis methodologies
  • Demonstrate and assess concurrent delays using robust planning and programming techniques
  • Coordinate with contractors and the employer to resolve planning and scheduling issues
  • Liaise with the client to finalize contractor programs, progress reports, and claims
  • Attend project meetings including kick-off, technical, coordination, and progress reviews, providing planning inputs and minutes
  • Prepare trackers and logs to monitor critical design and construction issues
  • Agree progress measurement systems and key performance indicators with consultants and contractors
  • Issue delay notices and performance correspondence related to contractor schedule slippage
  • Maintain accurate and complete project records and contemporary documentation
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Minimum ten years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure and community development projects
  • Strong background in utilities, roads, landscaping, and structural works
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and related planning tools
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces, and coordination requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and applicable regulations
