Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing project plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocation.

RTA Approval candidates are mandatory

Analyze project requirements and constraints to create realistic timelines and budgets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project information and ensure alignment with organizational goals Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and management Utilize planning software to create, update, and maintain project schedules Conduct resource analysis and optimization to ensure efficient utilization Coordinate with project managers and team members to resolve scheduling conflicts and issues Perform earned value analysis and provide recommendations for performance improvement Stay updated on industry best practices and local regulations to ensure compliance in project planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning engineering Professional Engineering (PE) certification Proficiency in planning software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in transportation projects is preferred Understanding of planning frameworks and collaboration processes Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Dubai Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
