Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Planning Engineer

with strong technical expertise in

Primavera P6

and solid knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all activities, and supporting the project team with accurate progress tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using

Primavera P6

, covering all project phases from initiation to completion. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to collect progress updates and incorporate them into the master schedule. Monitor project timelines and identify potential risks, delays, or bottlenecks; recommend and implement recovery plans. Prepare and issue regular progress reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for management and clients. Conduct

critical path analysis

, resource loading, and forecasting to support project planning and decision-making. Support the preparation of

work breakdown structures (WBS)

and align planning deliverables with project budgets and scopes. Participate in project review meetings, providing planning insights and schedule-based performance data. Assist in delay analysis and prepare mitigation strategies in coordination with the project team. Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with company standards, contractual obligations, and project control procedures. Coordinate closely with procurement and subcontracting teams to align material delivery and subcontract schedules with project requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Construction Management

, or a related field. Minimum

2 years of proven experience

as a Planning Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects. Strong command of

Primavera P6

for scheduling and project tracking. Good understanding of

construction sequencing

, project execution, and resource planning. Proficiency in

MS Office

(Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with

MS Project

is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
