Job Summary

We are looking for a

Planning Engineer

with strong EPC project experience in

Power Transmission, Substation, or Oil & Gas

sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in

Primavera P6

and

MS Projects

, excellent reporting and analytical skills, and a proven record of managing project schedules and progress reporting for multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain

project schedules

using Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects.
Prepare detailed

baseline schedules

, manpower histograms, progress measurement systems, and monitoring tools.
Coordinate with project teams to track progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation plans.
Generate

progress reports

,

dashboards

, and

schedule variance analyses

for management review.
Prepare

S-curves, resource allocation charts

, and

earned value reports

.
Support the project management team in

planning, forecasting, and cost control activities

.
Ensure that planning and reporting meet contractual and internal standards.
Prepare professional-quality reports and presentations using

MS Office

,

Excel

, and

Adobe software tools

.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data consolidation and project performance review.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficient in

Primavera P6

and

MS Projects

.
Strong knowledge of

EPC project workflows

, especially in

Power / Substation / Oil & Gas

domains.
Advanced proficiency in

MS Excel

,

MS Office

, and

Adobe tools

for reporting and documentation.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have knowledge to study the engineering drawings.

Experience Requirements

4-5 years

of experience as a Planning Engineer in EPC projects.
Must have successfully executed

at least 2-3 projects

in

Power Transmission / Substation / Oil & Gas

sectors.
Prior experience with reputed EPC contractors or consultants will be preferred.
