Urban Landscapes is looking for a

Planning Engineer

who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring & project control for all the Landscaping projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the specified quality standards. He will work closely with the project manager, site engineer, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain the project timeline and manage risks or delays.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation of all documents of planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring, for all the project works of the Company, covering. Planning & scheduling inputs for potential projects and pre-award/post-award, including review of client/subcontractor issued planning documents. Planning, scheduling, progress monitoring of project work from design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, till overall construction/completion. Planning inputs for Company developments in terms of manpower, histograms, deployment schedule, etc. Update & monitor schedule and report potential slippage and resource constraints to Project Managers. Following Company Quality and HSE system requirements and incorporating them in relevant documents Establish a cost baseline for the project, monitor cost commitments, Expenditures, cost flow and accurately forecast the financial status during the life of a project. The forecast is updated on a monthly or quarterly basis. Interaction directly with the project team on a day-to-day basis on planning, scheduling, cost needs. Interaction with others for planning & cost inputs and for providing planning & cost control documents through Project Managers. Interaction with clients/subcontractors through project teams and with suppliers through Project Managers as per requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degreein Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

At least 5-7 years of experience*, preferably in Landscaping
Proficient in scheduling software (

Primavera P6-2023 version*)
Proven experience working with main/sub-contractors

UAE Driving License is a MUST*
