Job Description
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gathering data through field surveys, aerial imagery, and other sources, then analyzing it using GIS and other software to create maps and spatial analyses.Map Creation and Maintenance:
Developing and maintaining accurate digital maps, including topographic maps, thematic maps, and other geospatial datasets.GIS Database Management:
Managing and updating geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.Spatial Analysis:
Performing spatial analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and trends in geographic data, providing insights for various projects.Collaboration and Communication:
Working with other engineers, planners, surveyors, and stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate findings, and ensure data accuracy.Quality Assurance/Quality Control:
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of mapping data through rigorous QA/QC processes.Remote Sensing Techniques:
Utilizing remote sensing technologies, such as satellite imagery and LiDAR, to enhance data collection and analysis.Report Preparation:
Preparing reports, presentations, and other deliverables based on mapping data and analysis.Job Type: Full-time
