Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Planning Engineer

to join our team in the construction and building industry. This pivotal role involves managing and coordinating project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of planning methodologies, and hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as

Primavera P6

and

MS Project

.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across all project phases. Monitor performance against baseline schedules and provide early warnings of delays. Propose mitigation strategies and generate regular progress reports, including

S-curves

,

critical path analysis

, and

Earned Value Management (EVM)

data. Forecast labor, material, and equipment requirements in coordination with project teams. Update project schedules to reflect changes, delays, and revised timelines. Prepare detailed status reports, performance metrics, and forecasts. Identify and manage risks; propose effective mitigation plans. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and address concerns. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with procurement and resource planning teams to ensure schedule alignment. Support budget preparation and resource allocation planning.

Candidate Profile:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in

Civil Engineering

Minimum

5 years of experience

in a similar role within the construction industry Proficient in

Primavera P6

and

MS Project
