We are seeking a skilled
Planning Engineer

,project planning and scheduling
, andthermal power plant
project. This role involves developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting project controls.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using
Primavera P6
for thermal power plant EPC or O&M projects. Prepare and updateLevel 1 to Level 4 schedules
, incorporating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather schedule data and ensure alignment. Monitor project progress and generateweekly/monthly progress reports
. Conductcritical path analysis
, resource loading, and forecasting. Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation actions. Support delay analysis and claims as required. Ensure compliance with project planning standards and client requirements.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).5+ years of planning experience
, preferably in thermal power plant projects.Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
. Good understanding of project management principles (PMI knowledge is a plus). Experience in working on EPC or O&M projects in thepower generation sector
. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,300.00 - AED4,800.00 per month
