We are in search of a proactive and experienced PLANNING ENGINEER who can support report to our branch office

Position: PLANNING ENGINEER

:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project progress, and collaborating with the project team to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to align on scheduling and project execution. Specifically assist the Project Manager by providing technical support, tracking project timelines, and ensuring the schedule is being followed

Monitor and analyze project progress and maintain project schedules, milestones, and activity sequences based on project requirements.

Provide regular updates to project managers, site or senior engineers and clients and to proactively identify potential delays or issues.

Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) documents, analyzing delays and offering solutions.

Keeping accurate site records for preparing claims related to time extensions or project delays.

Update and manage the BS Land program to ensure the project's progress aligns with deadlines.

Knowledgeable enough to coordinate and manage project planning activities using Primavera.

Assist in the creation of project plans and schedules, ensuring timely updates and revisions and if need arises coordinate with the design team to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions, focusing on general contracting practices.

Ensure all projects comply with project specifications, codes, and UAE construction standards.

Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management or senior engineer.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or a related field.

2-3 years of relevant experience in a planning role within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.

Proficiency in using Primavera for project planning and scheduling.

Experience in the preparation and management of project updates and revisions.

Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Good understanding of local construction regulations and standards in the UAE.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month
