The Construction Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams, analyzing progress, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track. Key Responsibilities: Project Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent software. Define work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and critical paths. Ensure project plans align with contractual requirements and client expectations. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, update schedules, and generate reports for stakeholders. Conduct regular site visits to verify actual progress against planned schedules. Identify delays, risks, and recommend mitigation measures. Resource & Cost Management: Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams for resource planning. Optimize manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor project budgets and forecasts to prevent cost overruns. Identify scheduling risks and propose corrective action plans. Analyze the impact of design changes, scope variations, and unforeseen delays. Work closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure smooth execution. Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate project timelines and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve planning issues. Ensure all planning activities comply with contractual and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning. Seniority level
