Job Description
Planning Engineer (Interior Fit Out) This role is responsible for the submission of planning schedules to ensure that work is completed as scheduled and to identify schedule-associated cost trends for management attention and action. Responsible to support development of the monthly reports and to perform schedule assessments.
- Responsible for preparing Preliminary time schedules for tendering.
- Responsible for preparing detailed baseline time schedules
- Updating Time Schedules on weekly basis
- Responsible for recovery and crashed schedules to be carried out
- As the work flows, keep updating the status of time performance of the project, and identify prospect claims and variations.
- Developing Cash flow and curves for planned projects
- Help developing procurement schedules and following up with the concerned team
- Time Schedule to reflect legal approvals and permits by the Client, mobilization, engineering approvals, procurement activities, construction, and closeout/handover activities (Snagging, de-snagging, commissioning, de-commissioning, etc...).
- Plans and provides work direction, as required, for the preparation of Planning and Scheduling Control Systems to provide Engineering and Construction supervisors the means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution
- Support in identifying the root causes behind delays, and to accordingly formulate recovery schedules to control the delay
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Engineering
- Primavera P6 is mandatory
- Experience with preparing documents based on the client changes.
- Knowledge in 3D
- Required experience in construction (finishes & fit outs).
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong writing and proof-reading skills.
- Extensive negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills.
- Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time.
- 4 to 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
