Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced

Planning Engineer

to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for infrastructure/construction projects in Qatar. The role requires strong Primavera P6 expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with project controls in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and progress updates Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify variances Analyze delays, critical paths, and recommend corrective actions Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports for management and stakeholders Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors Support EOT claims with proper planning narratives and time impact analysis Ensure planning activities align with contractual and project requirements

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) Minimum

5-8 years

of experience as a Planning Engineer Strong proficiency in

Primavera P6

(mandatory) Solid understanding of construction sequencing and project controls Experience in

Qatar/GCC infrastructure or building projects

preferred Knowledge of delay analysis and reporting Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications



Experience with Ashghal / large infrastructure projects Familiarity with contract conditions (FIDIC preferred) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
