Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination with site and management teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project. Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and revised project plans. Track progress against the baseline and prepare periodic progress reports. Analyze delays, identify critical paths, and propose mitigation plans. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, QS, and site teams. Prepare dashboards, S-curves, manpower histograms, and progress KPIs. Attend client/consultant meetings and present schedule updates. Support planning inputs for tenders, technical submissions, and claims. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and project execution strategy.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Construction Management. 3-7 years experience in planning within construction and fit-out projects (Qatar experience preferred). Strong command of Primavera P6 and MS Office (Excel). Knowledge of project lifecycle, procurement timelines, and site execution workflows. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project schedules. Valid Qatar ID & transferable visa preferred.
