This position is mainly responsible to effectively plan, schedule, monitor, and report the progress of projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while coordinating with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project in coordination with the project team.
Prepare baseline schedules and monitor project progress against the approved schedule.
Analyze delays and identify critical paths; propose recovery plans when needed.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Forecast manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
Update project schedules and issue look-ahead programs for site teams.
Conduct site visits to verify actual progress and collect relevant data.
Support in preparing extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis.
Ensure all planning documentation is in compliance with contractual obligations.
Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Identify project risks related to scheduling and propose mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Certification in Project Management or Primavera (Preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning for civil construction projects .
