Key areas of responsibility:

Ensure work authorization is provided to workshop manager, fleet owners within set timescales.

Identify and arrange to repair/rebuild/reconditioning of components in line with the agreement.

Identify/highlight patterns of repairs, escalating where appropriate to the Fleet Engineers.

Request additional discounts from supplier, over and above any agreements we currently have in place.

Track status of cost & sales budget, monitor cost savings made, update status to operation manager on daily basis.

Apply any cost saving rules established going forward.

Ensure close communication with other teams with in the operations department, to ensure we are maximizing machine uptime.

Sourcing parts through central planning team.

Any other ad-hoc departmental needs.
