Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Planning Engineer with 10+ years of experience
to develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring that construction or engineering projects are completed on time and within budget. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate timelines, resources, and project deliverables.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and update regularly. Prepare look-ahead schedules, delay analyses, and recovery plans when needed. Analyze project performance, identify risks or delays, and recommend mitigation strategies. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of tasks and materials. Track project milestones, critical paths, and resource usage. Prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves for internal and client reporting. Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling input and updates. Ensure alignment of project timelines with contract requirements and client expectations. Support in claims analysis and extension of time (EoT) submissions when required.
