Job Title: Senior Planner

Experience: 12-15 years (in UAE)

Candidate must have Engineering consultancy experience within UAE

Candidate must be available in UAE.

Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all phases of construction from initiation to completion. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules for engineering projects. Utilize industry-standard tools and software for scheduling, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Ensure project schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with client requirements and organizational goals. Monitor project progress regularly and identify potential delays or obstacles, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and ensure accurate project timelines. Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments to identify potential delays and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks. Monitor project progress and performance against baseline schedules, providing regular updates to project teams and management. Utilize industry-standard planning tools and software to create detailed project plans and analyse project data. Collaborate with project teams to identify resource requirements, optimize resource allocation, and ensure efficient use of manpower and equipment. Prepare reports and presentations for clients, highlighting project milestones, timelines, and potential challenges. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior planning staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry (Middle East experience preferred). Proficient in using planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project life cycles, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
