Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project in line with project scope, contract, and deadlines. Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and identify delays or critical issues affecting performance. Prepare and update reports such as lookahead schedules, progress S-curves, histograms, and variance analysis. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to collect input and validate progress updates. Support claims and EOT submissions by conducting delay analysis and compiling supporting documentation. Ensure proper implementation of planning and control procedures aligned with company standards. Attend progress meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and mitigation plans.
Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel (experience in MS Project is a plus). Sound knowledge of project control principles, EOT/delay analysis, and baseline management. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract conditions (preferred). Certification in PMP or PSP is an advantage.
