Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Planning Engineer

with a strong background in supervising construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have minimum 9 years in project planning roles (minimum 5 years in UAE and 3 years in supervision consultancy) Previous experience in Provis/ Musanada projects. Experience in fast-track or refurbishment projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Develop and maintain the overall project schedule, including timelines for refurbishment works.

2. Track and monitor project progress, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time.

3. Review and approve contractors' work schedules, ensuring alignment with project deadlines.

4. Identify potential schedule delays and proactively address issues to mitigate project risks.

5. Prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.

6. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.

7. Conduct critical path analysis to identify critical tasks and ensure they are prioritized.

8. Maintain a comprehensive project schedule, updated regularly to reflect changes or delays.

9. Track project resources, ensuring that labor, materials, and equipment are used efficiently.

10. Develop recovery plans when delays occur, ensuring project completion is not jeopardized.

11. Ensure that the schedule is adhered to and assist in resolving conflicts or changes affecting timelines.

12. Provide input into resource allocation to ensure the project meets its scheduled completion date.

13. Monitor project performance and make adjustments to schedules based on the actual progress.

14. Work closely with contractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet the schedule.

15. Ensure accurate reporting of project timeline progress for senior management and stakeholders.

16. Review and advise on EOT/ Claims submission by the contractor.
