Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer with a minimum of

3 years of experience in planning and developing baseline schedules using Primavera for electrical infrastructure substation projects

.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for primary substation construction, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project milestones. Create and manage baseline schedules for substation projects, ensuring all project activities are well-defined and achievable within the specified time frame. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of activities across various teams. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays to the project timeline. Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting any variances from the baseline schedule and suggesting corrective actions. Conduct resource planning and allocation, ensuring efficient utilization of labor, materials, and equipment. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, project proposals, and cost estimates related to substation projects. Maintain accurate records of project documentation and communications, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum

3 years of experience

in planning and scheduling for primary substation projects. Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Experience in substation projects, including MEP and civil works.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience with power transmission or electrical infrastructure projects.
