Our Valued Client at an Engineering & Construction Company is looking for a Planning Engineering. : A Planning Engineer plays a key role in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and project management. The primary responsibility of a Planning Engineer is to develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules and plans. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Job Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning:
- Develop detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints.
- Create a comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
- Analyze project scope, specifications, and resources to estimate time and costs accurately.
- Allocate resources (human, equipment, and materials) efficiently to meet project requirements.
- Allocate resources (human, equipment, and materials) efficiently to service.
- Ensure that the right resources are available at the right time to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
- Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize productivity. Monitor and control employees productivity and manpower entry sheet.
- Monitor and update project schedules regularly to track progress and identify potential issues.
- Identify critical path activities and prioritize them to prevent delays.
- Implement schedule changes when necessary and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the project schedule.
- Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address schedule disruptions.
- Work with project teams to implement risk management measures.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports, including schedule updates, to project stakeholders.
- Communicate with project managers, team members, and clients to ensure everyone is aware of the project\'s status and any changes.
- Address queries and concerns related to project scheduling.
- Ensure that project schedules align with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to integrate quality control activities into the project plan.
- Assist in cost estimation and budget preparation.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure they align with the budget.
- Maintain detailed records of project schedules, changes, and correspondence.
- Keep a historical record of project data for future reference and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in project planning and management.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning and scheduling processes.
- Address scheduling conflicts and challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to find creative solutions to schedule-related issues.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in construction and site management, preferably with villa or residential projects in UAE.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations in UAE.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
