Job duties and responsibilities
- Develop the list of plans/schedule/closeout report required to execute the project and their hierarchy relationship.
- Ensure completeness of the development of the activities, logic, resources, and progress for the integrated project schedule, leading to the creation of the baseline and its subsequent maintenance using Primavera.
- Knowledge of developing S curves and project progress curves.
- Develop status for daily, weekly, monthly reporting framework and implement throughout the planning hierarchy.
- Provide regular and comprehensive schedule status reports to project management with HSE prospect.
- Review scope change requests for the impact on schedules and the critical path of the project.
- Prepare reconciliation between earlier schedules and the current schedule.
- Consolidate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and to aid project management decision making.
- Liaise with and challenge Project Engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities.
- Cost Tracking/invoicing for every individual activity going on in the site.
- Listing out the preliminary and final MTO required for the Project.
- Minimum 6 years of experience working as a Planning Engineer within the Oil and Gas industry with EPC/ADNOC project experience is a must.
- Preferably candidates with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Should be well-versed in Primavera P6.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experienced seeing projects through the full life cycle.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
