Job description As a Planning Engineer you will play an essential role in our projects by overseeing and optimizing project schedules, resource allocation, and cost management. It is a big plus having a background in Landscaping. You will ensure that our projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines using project management software. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with project managers, architects, and landscape designers to create realistic project schedules. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and update project plans as needed to adapt to changing circumstances and ensure project success. \xc2\xb7 Allocate resources, including equipment, labor, and materials, to ensure the efficient execution of landscaping projects. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materials and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Create and maintain project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. \xc2\xb7 Monitor project costs and work with the finance team to ensure projects stay within budget. \xc2\xb7 Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. \xc2\xb7 Regularly assess project progress and address any deviations from the plan. \xc2\xb7 Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to senior management, project stakeholders, and clients. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and project-related data. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with various departments, including landscaping, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure smooth project execution. \xc2\xb7 Act as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and provide support to project managers and team members. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that landscaping projects meet quality standards and specifications. \xc2\xb7 Implement best practices and quality control measures to guarantee customer satisfaction. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the landscaping or construction industry. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera). \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of UAE regulations and industry standards for landscaping projects. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Strong time management and organizational skills.
