Job Description

The applicant will provide effective IT and ITS assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and Support to the IT Manager. The post holder is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Intelligent Transport System Applications (AFC, Planning & Scheduling, AVLS etc.), Oracle and SQL RDBMS and Desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Exchange environment plus general maintenance of all IT/ITS -related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of ITS -related projects and activities. Other Requirements Prepare documents, meeting materials and correspondence Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager provide IT support to users Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable Provide assistance as required to the IT Manager Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT/ITS System-related matters Ensure that a high level of user service and support is provided to all internal and external users of ITS Systems Hands-on experience in one or more databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems Application. Experience of Customization or creating reports from database servers. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline 2-5 Years working Experience Experience working with Spend Management Solutions in a support role Experience in ITS Systems, AVL Systems ( GPS ), AFC System( Ticket machines), Planning System (Duty scheduling and planning ) is preferred Knowledge of development and Customization of database reports will be an advantage Valid UAE Driving License with Car.
