Develop and provide input to the Manufacturing build plan. Develop priorities and communicate support functions while taking an active role in problem resolution as required. Coordinate with all shop departments to ensure proper inventory levels - maintain knowledge of plant operations and equipment design to plan appropriately Review and release work orders per the system demand, manage the system recommended messages, and maintain work order dates that adhere to the metrics for the organization. Periodically review non-conformances and engineering changes to rework any work orders as required. Regularly update work order due dates based on fluctuations in in-house capacity and vendor delivery schedules. Keep the Planning manager aware of applicable changes affecting the part's lead time to update the system. Regularly monitor and update safety stock levels in the system when necessary. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Experience planning in an Engineered-to-Order or Make-to-Order manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with ERP Planning preferred. Strong knowledge of the supply chain.
