PLANE TRIGONOMETRY - INSTRUCTOR/ADJUNCT

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Instructor/Adjunct to teach Plane Trigonometry for Fall 2025. This course focuses on fundamental trigonometric concepts, including angle measurement, trigonometric functions and identities, solutions of triangles, polar coordinates, and applications of trigonometry in real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging lectures on Plane Trigonometry topics. Foster interactive classroom discussions and problem-solving sessions to enhance student learning. Create and administer quizzes, assignments, and examinations to assess student understanding. Provide timely, constructive feedback to students. Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and course documentation.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Mathematics or a Ph.D. in a closely related field.

Experience: Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.

Skills: Demonstrated expertise in trigonometry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate interactive and effective learning environments.

Language: Fluency in English is required (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).

Legal Requirements:

Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR150.00 - QAR300.00 per hour
