Summary of the job:

A master data and analyst will be responsible for managing all Master data related activities across MD SC in Middle east, including but not limited to -
  • Working with master data teams to ensure ME master data is clean, updated and accurate
  • Bring processes to ensure that the master data refresh takes place at a certain frequency to availability of accurate information for key tenders and other activities.
  • Understand and work with stakeholders to ensure data requirement of key events and tenders are met. (NUPCO, SGH, Egypt Military, Kimadia, Libya MSO, Jordan DMS, etc.)
  • Act as a DRI with in ME to coordinate with other functions/sources given the multiplicity of systems and processes we deal with due to our complex sourcing network
  • Streamline process and reduce errors across master data
  • Align activities and liaising with EMEA master data teams, seeking inputs from the MAKE organization, and working closely with GS1/Similar outfits to update and maintain the data on the databases.
  • Support and enable supply chain activities by providing insights through analysis of IN-market sales, prognosis and various other reports being used.

Main Responsibilities:

Master data Management:
  • Set up new items in the Master data, ensure data accuracy, updated information, and regular maintenance of the information.
  • Work with master data/sources to ensure regular refresh of the item master data to ensure full accuracy.

Customer data Interface

  • Work with customer, tendering/govt authorities, distributors as applicable to update the required data customer seeks in the agreed format/system.
  • Manage end to end of this process ensuring trouble shooting, working with sources, master data and any other stakeholders who might be required.

Project and PMO Support

  • Support the ME and Emerging markets PMO with analysis, insights and other reporting activities for specific projects as required.
  • Ensure timely update of S&OP/reports/dashboards and other reports as required.

Analyst activities

  • Build and maintain In-Market sales history, ensure clean data availability in line with J&J codes, UOM etc. across all markets of ME.
  • Work on key supply chain processes to support implementation of Magellan at a later stage.

  • Local ME medical Commercial
  • ME E2E supply Chain team
  • Franchise Marketing and platform team
  • Source and central Master Data Team
  • ME Tender Team
  • ME & EMEA RA, BQ and similar stakeholders



Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education
  • Experience / Exposure to complex / regulated businesses such as Medical Devices industry (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis
  • Expert in Excel, Skilled enough in Word and Power Point
  • Good Analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Strong skills in data administration, design and architecture
  • Exposure to JDE processes.
  • Experience in Power BI or Tableau is a must
