Job Description
DESCRIPTION A Pizza Maker does multiple and simultaneous processes \xe2\x80\x94from dough and ingredient prep to cooking pizza in a pizza or wood-fired oven. A good Pizza Maker makes excellent pizzas and knows how to teach others to toss dough, assemble pizzas and cook them properly. We are looking for a skilled Pizza Maker to prepare high-quality pizzas according to customers\xe2\x80\x99 orders. To be successful in this role, you should ensure that kitchen safety protocol is properly followed. Ultimately, a top-notch Pizza Maker should be able to train and mentor kitchen staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract length: 5 days Experience:
- Ensures cooking stations are sanitized and prepped with necessary tools
- Prepares and stores pizza dough
- Prepares pizza sauces
- Trains other cooks in the preparation process so all meals are uniform
- Checks quality of pizzas before they\xe2\x80\x99re served to guests
- Performs regular maintenance on kitchen equipment
- Collaborates with staff on menu items
- Makes sure the kitchen is clean and sanitized
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned by managment team
- Attend all trainings and meetings as assigned by managment
- Maintain a positive attitude, teamwork and great communication
- Ability to create different types of Napoletana Pizza.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
- Always maintain a very clean and sanitized work area that exceeds the Ministry of Health standards
- Positive, Energetic, engaging personality
- Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work little to no direct supervision
- Very high attention to detail and extensive service knowldge of the kitchens
- Sensitive to cultural nuances
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense , fast paced environment
- Has 2 years of working in UAE in same or similar role
- Work experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant
- Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone oven
- Understanding of food hygiene
- Good time-management skills
- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
